So yesterday was a HUGE day for SEASTARS! We had not 1, but 2 Southeastern Cuts made at the GPAC  Flip Flop long course  Invitational. Malik, 9, made southeasterns in 100 breast from a no time and no one to swim! Coach Marissa and he will go to Huntsville in July. He just turned 9 in December. Haven’t sent anyone since 2011! What I didn’t realize until today, is that Dolon got the 11 and 12 boys 100 fly cut too! He will age up before July so won’t qualify for the meet, but truly amazing for our little Autistic swimmer who has represented SES at the Age Group Zones meet as a disability swimmer MADE ABLE BODIED CUTS! He started lessons in 2012 and it took him 2 summers to learn to swim. This is his second year in lessons and his first ever 25 free with fins on at lessons July 23, 2013 and yesterday, MADE the SES Championship Meet cut in 100 meter Fly!
