Wanted: Private/Semi-Private Swim Lesson Instructors
- SEASTARS Aquatics is looking for 2-3 Swim lesson instructors: All instructors must be college age or older, have over 3 years experience teaching swim lessons, and lessons given should be FUN and FEAR free. Lessons are grouped in 4 one half hour increments at The Salvation Army Pool located at 1501 North Q Street. Pay is $12 per hour
Wanted: Summer Swim Team Coaches
- SEASTARS Aquatics is looking for 1-2 Swim Team Coaches for the Summer. One Intermediate Coach and one Coach with experience Coaching Advanced Swimmers. Our Team is made up of Special Needs swimmers and low income clients. Coaches MUST be able to work well with our clientele and follow the Swimmer’s Incentive program based on positive reinforcement. Pay is $8 per hour
SEASTARS is an incentive-based, year round swim team and mentoring program. SEASTARS strives to improve the quality of life for underprivileged children by teaching important student-athlete skills, such as goal setting and time-management, aiding their pursuit of higher education and achievement of life goals. All money made from swim lessons helps support the Swim Team.
All SEASTARS employees (Coaches AND Swim Lesson Instructors) MUST be or become certified Coaches through USA Swimming PRIOR to beginning work.
